The A grade event was great to watch and hard fought throughout. Looking through the lap by lap sprints it was very close and only decided by the final sprint:

Strong rides were noted by Steve Mullins winning the prime and soloing off the front for 3 laps, Shannon Duggan
chasing down breaks, Darren Croad and Henry Englebert off the front for 3 laps but with such as short race it
seemed inevitable it was coming down to a big bunch sprint.

C Grade Points Race (31 riders)
1st Mark Ross (FFAST) (7 points - 3 sprints plus 5th last lap)
2nd Kim Flesser (HPRW) (6 points - 1 sprint plus 2nd last lap)
3rd (Tied) Phil Milham (HPRW) (6 points - 3 sprints)
3rd (Tied) Spiro Sclavos (FFAST) (6 points - 3 sprints)
4th John Chapman (HPRW) (5 points - 1st last lap)

C grade was hard and fast, with early efforts taking their toll on some riders. Spiro won the first 2 recovered
then got another later then faded. Kim Flesser proving he does have more than one sprint in his legs, getting
an early sprint, then a crafty second. Mark Ross getting 3 sprints spread throughout the race and the one
point for fifth place at the end was what he needed to edge out Kim for the win! John Chapman didn't feature
until the end but that was enough for 4th place. Phil Milham also rode very well 3 out of the last 6 sprints
before the final lap.
