Duty Description:


Team Leader:
The person indicated in bold * is the leader for the day and is required to contact all team
members in the week of the event to ensure full attendance. Contact list will be sent to the leader on Monday
of their duty week

Sign-on (2):
Set up tables/chairs/tent, collect fees, distribute race numbers, carbon copy start sheets to
starters, ensure Marshalls have road signs, open toilets/lock toilets, collect race numbers, prepare prize
money

Road Marshals (4-5): Mobile phone #’s to commissaire, Know the course, place road signs, Carry flag, wear
Marshals shirt, direct riders, alert traffic of riders. Lead & Follow vehicles attach signs to vehicles

Start/Finish (3-5):
1 Commissarie, 1 timekeeper, 2 judges. Have start sheets, define race & rules, count
laps, record finish time & order, call for riders to claim places, complete final results on start sheets
General:
These duties will be performed on a roster basis, once each per year (more often if you desire)
Officials should be at the venue 30 minutes before start time of 8.00am or 1.30pm for Elimbah, Pine Dam,
and Somerset Dam (particularly sign-on staff, 1 hour)
Wayne Wilson will bring the trailer with all gear required each week (unless advised)
Numbers indicated above are a minimum.
Start officials generally assist at the start/finish after their early duties are complete.
If you are unable to attend, you must find a replacement and notify the team leader
