Open Events - Reminder - HPRW members should be aware that there have been changes to how riders enter some CQ Open events. While Elite and Masters gradings events haven't changed, in events advertised as 'graded' racing, riders must compete in the grade allocated to them by the CQ handicappers. To check what you are currently graded for in Open events and to find out more about the new system, please visit http://www.qld.cycling.org.au/new/road.htm and look at GRADINGS. * Below are some upcoming open events (and special HPRW events) that members might consider entering:- Saturday 30th August - HPRW 100 year Centenary 100km Handicap Race. Div 1 (100km) & Div 2 (50km) at Laidley. Sunday 10th August - Queensland Elite and Masters Road Championships - Check CQ website. Sunday 21st September - HPRW Challenge 25 at Laidley (Individual Time Trial) Sunday 28th September - Queensland Team Trial Championships - Laidley (Contact Wayne Wilson with your team member names). Saturday 25th October - HPRW Summer Criterium Series begins at Nundah Sunday 26th October - Queensland Criterium Championships - Nundah. Summer Wednesday Twilight Racing series at Nundah will commence in mid December. |
