The Graded Metropolitan Championship is over for another year, thanks to Balmoral CC for a great weekend's racing. HPRW was well represented at both the Murarrie Crit on saturday and at the Mt Alford road course on Sunday. Full results aren't yet available (let us know if you have some HPRW results) but we have this report from Elite B faithful domestique Shane Bedford:

Shaun O'Brien blitzed the field in Elite B to take line honours in what was a tough 92km road race in strong winds. The course consisted of 4 laps of a 23km loop on dead undulating roads. The wind was up, and out of the 30 odd starters only half ended up finishing. BikeKing and Victor Broncos had the numbers, but that doesn't count for anything when Shaun is on the starting list. Awesome effort Shauno, congratulations on a well deserved win!

What Shane didn't mention was he spent half the race out the front making everyone else chase! Warren Forbes also had a very strong finish placing 3rd.
